SmartGrowth and Community Service

SmartGrowth, Inc. is committed to improving the quality of the communities where its clients live. Through Pam Watson Korbel, the company focuses its outreach in two areas:

2005 Day of Entrepreneurial Service – SmartGrowth organizes entrepreneurs to come together two times a year to provide service to a community or non-profit organization. Through this program, entrepreneurs get experience volunteering and then extend their commitment on their own beyond this experience.

2008 Day of Entrepreneurial Service

The Demeter Project – This program provides resources to women in business so that they will increase their leadership on corporate and non-profit boards, in public policy and as volunteers in the community.
