Step 1: Design
Spend 5 hours with your management team and a SmartGrowth coach

- crystallize your mission and values;

- set 5 priorities for the next year;
- set up a system to monitor priorities through key indicators and
accountability sessions.
Step 2: Implementation
These two activities occur monthly:
- The CEO meets monthly for two hours with your SmartGrowth
coach to analyze opportunities and road blocks to
the priorities, values
and mission. Agenda topics for this meeting typically
include:
- growing and developing the management team;
- communicating values and mission to employees;
- aligning personal goals/values with company direction;
- removing obstacles, especially human obstacles,
to goals;
- defining succession plans for key
employees;

- The management team meets monthly
with your SmartGrowth coach
to discuss progress
for the
past month and
set new priorities for
the

for this meeting typically include:
- hiring systems to bring in "great" not "good" personnel;
- increasing profits dramatically;
- creating opportunities for strategic
alliances and partnerships;
- capitalizing on
market opportunities;
- minimizing internal
and external
threats and obstacles;
- other timely
topics the
CEO or managers
desire.
Step 3: Prosper
Grow sales
