Pam Waston Korbel

An expert on leadership in fast-growth companies, Pam
Watson Korbel demonstrates high capabilities to build company sales,
profits and valuation through her CEO experience. In two different
firms, she has overseen profitable growth once achieving 500% growth
in revenue over four years and another company 1500% growth in eight
years.
She also maintains her own professional services firm
SmartGrowth, Inc., which she founded in 1996. Through this firm,
she serves as a corporate director, interim CEO, management consultant
and executive coach.
As an executive coach, she ranks in the top 7 percent
in the world according to the International Coaches Federation.
Pam was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year
Award in the program sponsored by Inc. Magazine. She has
also worked in strategic and sales positions in Fortune 200 and Inc.
500 companies.
Pam’s mentoring extends as well to her volunteer
work. A life-long Girl Scout, she founded the Demeter Scholarship
program for girls who earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, and she serves
in volunteer roles for Girl Scouts of Colorado, Inc.
While a resident of San Diego, CA, she co-founded the
Roads to Self-Employment Program, which helps women to reduce their dependence
upon welfare by becoming entrepreneurs.
She is a member of the National Association of Corporate
Directors and the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She
is past president of the Denver Chapter of the National Association of
Women Business Owners.
Pam has been recognized for her expertise and contributions
to the business community by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, National
Association of Women Business Owners, and US Small Business Administration.
In 2005 she received the Martin Luther King Award for
Business Social Responsibility for Colorado, and in 2004 the David E.
Bailey Award for Small Business Advocacy.
