Pam Watson Korbel is a true pioneer in the field of business coaching—and not only as a female business coach. Pam ranks in the top 7 per cent of all coaches in the world for the number of coaching hours and coaching revenues, according to the Business Building Center.
Pam founded SmartGrowth, Inc. of Denver in 1996. The company serves over 100 clients nationwide and has more than doubled in size since 2006. SmartGrowth advises investors, business owners and executives of rapidly growing firms on strategies to enhance their company’s value. Pam recently added a specialty of how emotional intelligence in fast growth companies impacts the growth in their business valuations.
Her firm now serves clients throughout the nation and is preparing to license other professional business coaches nationally through an innovative training and mentoring program.
After 10 years of professional
coaching, Pam founded Business Ace - an association of professional business coaches for networking and the sharing of ideas and approaches unique to entrepreneurs.
As the former CEO of a rapidly growing integrated software firm, Pam was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1993 in a program sponsored by Inc. Magazine. She has also worked in strategic and sales positions in Fortune 200 and Inc. 500 companies.
Pam graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism as well as a MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree. She is married and has two children.

that promotes integrity and high standards in business coaching
- Co-founded the Roads to Self-Employment
Program, which helped women reduce their dependence upon welfare by
becoming entrepreneurs
- Serves as a Girl Scout troop leader for middle
and high school girls
- Funds the Demeter Scholarship for one
Denver-area Girl Scout each year
